Dr. Janet Fienemann is a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years experience treating adults, couples and children.  Whether you need a nurturing environment to heal and process or tools, and coaching for change, counseling works!  Janet helps you overcome anxiety, depression, grief, addictions, improve relationships deal with infertility and pregnancy loss and create a successful, fulfilling life.  With a warm, down to earth approach and a small practice, she is able to get to know each client and provide hands-on, personalized support.

Dr. Fienemann especially enjoys working with individuals struggling to improve their relationships, or trying to make sense out of a loss or difficulty such as a break-up, an illness, pain, miscarriage, fertility concerns, and also clients looking to find more meaning, peace or joy in their life.

Dr. Fienemann incorporates proven approaches into her work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman techniques, play, art and other creative arts therapy.   She has had the opportunity to study and practice mindfulness with great teachers including Jon Kabat-Zinn and the Dalai-Lama and can help you be more present, relaxed, focused and empowered in your own life and relationships.
